Hello. Was listening to the podcast Monday morning about grumpy 32 bit Linux users and their old hardware. A few hours later I got an email from The Pi Hut in the UK, ” The New Raspberry Pi 4 is here”. Who needs a 32 bit old machine when you can spend 50 squids on a brand new Pi 4?
Martin, how much work do you need to do to get the MATE working on RPi4? Can’t wait.
Greetings from Norway.
I’ve got a Pi 4 and will start investigating what is required to Ubuntu MATE up and running over the coming weeks.
Thanks Martin.
I just donated 40GBP. I appreciate the hard work you and your team does. I’ve been using Ubuntu MATE since 2017 and I know next to nothing about Linux and maybe understand 10% of the content presented on Ubuntu Podcast, Late Night Linux, LAN, LUP etc.
Since 2015, not 2017. So sad, 4 years and I still know nothing ๐
Very kind, thank you!
